Holy Crap, Exciting week much?

Well, I could say its been a good week, but that’s not enough. This week has been full of excitement, disappointment, and happiness. Starting the week was me staying up all night monday waiting for the Zune 4.0 software to be released, Luckily the lovely Zune team made it life right at midnight, so I didn’t have to stay up ALL night. But, midnight their time is 3 AM my time. So update at 3 AM + 2 hours of play time = going to sleep at 5AM.

So, I highly doubt next week will be this exciting.

Well, the dreamhost sale is over with. Must wait till Christmas, i would assume. In the meantime, the blog’s are staying here. Feel free to check out Music Weekly, comment on the posts, and all the good stuff! I’ll be updating music weekly soon, unless Charge does it tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I’m listening to the new Paramore song, and I love it. Also, The 15th is a new Zune firmware update, plus the launch of the ZuneHD. I can’t friggin wait. Not to mention, “9″ comes out today!

Ever Since I wanted to start a website, I’ve wanted dilsplace.net.. Well I haven’t been able to afford a good host.. or any host for that matter. Dreamhost is having a labor day sale! $9.99 for a whole year of unlimited EVERYTHING! So, Dilsplace.co.cc might be moving,
I hate moving as much as everyone, but if i get on dreamhost, i’ll have no problems with anything (IE: Registration emails not sending) so it’ll be soo nice for all of us!

So yeah, my free host (Zymic) sucks, and i’m having a heck of a time getting wordpress to email the passwords to people.. so you cant register right now, but i’ll get it working somehow.. Sorry Guys.. Comment on this post if you tried to register and i’ll set you a password and email it myself.

They suck. Horribly. This morning I was showed by charge that there was nearly 2,000 spam comments between two of the posts on music weekly.. so he deletes them and I went out to supper. I come back, and there’s almost 300 more! So for now, Comments require registration on music weekly. My web host sucks and disabled the ability to have plugins connect to their home bases (example would be Akismet, an effective spam filter for wordpress) so I gotta figure out something. Hopefully no one will have to register in order to comment. But you will always have the ability to register, if you want.
So yeah… Spam sucks.

Music Weekly Is Back!

Yeah, I knew I couldn’t keep it away for long. I thought about it, and I don’t need a fancy website (yet), I don’t need a forum to talk about the posts, I don’t need anything like that. So Music Weekly will be just a blog, with easy commenting where you can chat about the weeks feature. I’ll be playing with wordpress to make it awesome, but that’s all I’ll be doing for music weekly. For now, at least. Until then, Hit the link, Bookmark it, (or subscribe to the RSS feed? I know some people still use RSS.) and check back often. We will be updating it as often as possible.

Hey, I’m Dylan. I got this place awhile ago and couldn’t decide on what I wanted to do with it! So here I am, a blog on the main page instead of one of the sub-directories. I’ve had /dilsblog/, /blog/ and a bunch of others. I’m staying HERE.
But anyway, I had a Music Weekly site up and running with my buddy Charge from Zuneboards. But I quickly lost all interest in updating it, mainly because of the horrible looking website and very empty forum. So I decided to bring those two things down, but I left the blog that we used to post on (the entire back bone of Music Weekly) So it would be super easy to get everything back up and running when I decided it was ready. I’ll be updating about that part of the site on here, as well as posting whatever the heck I find that interests me on the internet, or whats going on in my life. I’ll work on the about me page here in a bit so you all can learn a few slightly interesting facts about me.
So anyway, Thanks for reading.
