John was a salesman’s delight when it came to any kind of unusual gimmicks. His wife Marsha had long ago given up trying to get him to change. One day John came home with another one of his unusual purchases. It was a robot that John claimed was actually a lie detector. It was about 5:30 that afternoon when Tommy, their 11 year old son, returned home from school. Tommy was over 2 hours late. “Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late getting home?” asked John. “Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit project,” said Tommy. The robot walked around the table and slapped Tommy, knocking him out of his chair. “Son,” said John, “this robot is a lie detector, now tell us where you really were after school.” “We went to Bobby’s house and watched a movie.” said Tommy. “What did you watch?” asked Marsha. “The Ten Commandments.” answered Tommy. The robot went around to Tommy and once again slapped him, knocking him off his chair. With his lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said, “I am sorry I
lied. We really watched a tape called Sex Queen.” “I am ashamed of you son,” said John. “When I was your age, I never lied to my parents.” The robot walked around to John and delivered a whack that nearly
knocked him out of his chair. Marsha doubled over in laughter, almost in tears and said, “Boy, did you ever ask for that one! You can’t be too mad with Tommy. After all, he is your son!” The robot walked around to Marsha and knocked her out of her chair.

Hey y’all, remember this post?. Well, The time is here. During PDC 2009, Microsoft Officially announced that the public beta is now released. Remember Windows 7 beta? Its pretty much setup the same for downloading and such, except its Office 2010. There’s not too much to talk  about, other than its a nice upgrade from Office 2007, and even the tech preview.

The clouds move and everything. Its pretty cool.

Hm, Could AVG be put onto the back burners along with the Norton Security Suite? It actually hurts me to even SAY “Norton Security Suite”, hehe.

Today, Panda Security released “Panda Cloud Anti Virus” out of beta. I decided to try it out, as a new program every so often is fun. So far, So good.

Uninstalled AVG with Revo Uninstaller, Needed to reboot. K. Fine. So I rebooted. With AVG gone, and Panda pre-downloaded, I went along with the Panda install. The process was quick and easy. Scan of the whole computer took about an hour, and the whole program runs pretty slick. No more daily updates for me!

I learned a lesson. Don’t believe anything you hear unless its from the source. Don’t believe the news, don’t believe staff of a place, believe the owner, or manager. If you believe something that isn’t from the source, you’ll regret it down the line. It may be a week after you do it, or it could be years. It always happened. I’ve learned this in the almost 18 years i’ve been alive. Listen to me or not. If you do, yay! If you don’t, then your loss.

I like changing my desktop wallpaper on my computer. Decided, I’d share it here! Figured you guys wouldn’t mind I’ll be doing this often, but not gonna spam the blog with it.
