Heh, the wonderful world of the internet. Full of many different kinds of people. I’m a zune owner, and I honestly do not like most iPods. I want a music player, that’s what the zune’s purpose is. Guess what the main problem Zune owners on the internet have? Apple fanboys! Yeah, the hipster know-it-all people who act like everything created by Apple is a gift from god. They think that they have the right to call everyone else fanboys for whatever they like most (be it Microsoft, HTC, Motorola, whatever) but they get offended when they are called one back. Are they insecure or are they just that blind to their own actions? I haven’t figured it out yet, but it’s starting to annoy me.
We’re all equal, doesn’t matter what we like. We can think one product is “the best sh** in the world”, but please, for the love of the internet, if you’re an important part of the tech community, give all products an equal chance. Nobody (give or take a few) wants to go to a website and read five pages of stuff from one company! I may be wrong on that, sure, but I know I sure as heck do not wanna go to a website to find information on the latest tablet computer concepts and have to sort through 50 different apple posts. Am I the only one here that thinks that? Maybe I’m in the minority. I’m not going to single out one single website here, as they exist over the entire internet.
We really need to change. But hey, I’m just one kid, what’s the odds of me being able to make a difference?

Its here! Year of the Black Rainbow by Coheed and Cambria. I’ve been so stoked for the past week since everyone started getting theirs. The album is another great production from the band. However, the $45 I spent on the deluxe edition? Not completely impressed. Here’s why.
It lacks the actual cd jewel case. Instead, it comes in a “media holder” which isn’t exactly bad but I would have preferred having the actual case, like what you would get if you bought it from the store. I haven’t checked out the DVD yet, but I’m sure its great. The book is decent quality for a first edition, and I very much like the edges of the pages. I look forward to getting into the story. (Yes, I own the first half of the SSTB Amory wars… but i’ve never read them)
On the slip cover for the media carrier/book, the song list is a piece of paper that is glued on crooked and wasn’t even glued on all the way. However, I fixed the glue problem but sort of made it worse. Oh well. I read on Cobalt and Calcium that each order was hand-packaged, so I guess I cannot complain.
Over-all – its awesome. It just cost too much for my liking. I’ll live though, its Coheed!

Well, You all know me, and I’m a Zune guy. General Microsoft guy. Not a fan boy, their stuff just… fits me. I don’t hate Apple, I actually enjoy some of their stuff. Now, My opinion of the iPad.
My “giant iPod touch” theory is still in affect… kind of. It acts like one and looks like one, but with the bigger screen, I see a lot of potential. I will be keeping an eye on the growth of it. However, the odds of me owning one will always be pretty small. A couple things I noticed that I didn’t like..
iPad apps are more expensive than the iPhone apps. Just because they are bigger, doesn’t make them worth more.
While typing a message on a website, the keyboard stuttered a little bit. Didn’t recognize my input and locked up for a second. This problem is usual in most devices I’ve read about. It’ll get fixed.
So, now I feel like re-doing my Hacintosh, so bbl.

Yeah, All four of those things suck. Pretty bad. We may not be getting it very hard, but its slick out there. I’m hearing that they are wrecking all over the place. I hope everyone stays safe wherever you are. I was driving earlier but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I hear it is now. Luckily. I won’t have to go back out in it. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse the next couple days.
Later Y’all.

Click the Thumbnails to see the images in full 1600×1200 glory. The first two pictures are just the road I live on, usually a fairly busy road but empty when the roads are bad. The last one is of my building in the back yard.
We are supposed to be getting more snow tonight, So probably I’ll take more pictures tomorrow. Will add them to this post.
Be safe, Everyone.

Thanks to a very awesome friend, I now have a fully working hackintosh. Leopard 10.5.8. The image above is showing the graphics section of system profiler, where it shows I have Quartz Extreme and both monitors working. Its just really nice to finally say I have accomplished it. I have been trying to get a fully working hackintosh for about a year now.
To my friends who will say “eeeewwwww! osx!!” I am dual booting with Windows 7, so be happy
